Death of Olive Jacobs       A handwritten note made by the Ashtabula County Gen Society (extracted from an article in the Conneaut Report, June 19, 1889) indicates that 60-year-old Olive Jacobs of Conneaut died at her family home. Born in 1829, Olive was sister to Volney Jacobs and Mrs. M.W. Wright. She attended the Conneaut Baptist Church for more than 30 years. Roberta Mary Jacobs       A handwritten note made by the Ashtabula County Gen Society indicates that Roberta Mary Jacobs was born 1 January 1901 in Conneaut, Ashtabula County, Ohio. Her father, Robert Steven Jacobs, and her mother, Mary Elyzabeth Algyee, were both born in Wayne, Wood County, Ohio. Rosamund Davis and George A. Jacobs Jr. Marriage Announcement       According to a news clipping held by the Ashtabula County Genealogical Society (Archive Days Film, Frame 558 Kingsville Reel 6), Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Davis announced the upcoming marriage of their daughter to the above-named gentleman. The ceremony was set for 7 October 1934 at Marysville, New York by the Rev. Thompson at Methodist parsonage, and the couple planned to make their home thereafter in Conneaut. At the time of this announcement, the groom's father, George R. Jacobs, resided at 239 Chestnut Street in Conneaut.
